hi,

i have a Land Rover Sonim phone, i have been trying to get my GPS to work so i have down loaded the java app it tells me to configure profile 5 which i understand but where do i get APN number from.

please help,

You get it from your provider, but sometimes they get it wrong.
For instance I am with Orange and the APN name given to me was Orange WAP something or other and it wouldnt work. By chance I looked at a pals phone settings-he had Orangeinternet as the APN. So I tried this and hey presto it worked!
Having said that I ve just deleted Amaze maps from my Sonim(they want paying for it now) and downloaded MG Maps that Sonim offer instead. I m strugglng to that working now.
