It seems like this comes up every couple years for some reason. I heard that CNN has been reporting a new March 1, 2010 deadline has been announced before telemarketers get access to cell numbers. If you don't register with the do not call registry your number will be released. It's simply not true.
This misinformation stems from the creation of a cell phone 411 service several years ago, that is strictly opt-in. That is, you specifically have to say you want to be included in the directory.
