MWC 2010 has seen a lot of phones, some common and some, as shown above, uncommon. The company, Hagenuk, from Germany has created a handset that is geared more to the elderly; the Hagenuk fono E100.
The Hagenuk fono E100 is a basic phone with large numbered buttons that makes it easier for the elderly to use. The keyboard also has large buttons and features a flashlight and an SOS button in case of an emergency. The phone will allow the users to send 5 text messages to certain numbers and has a battery life of up to 2.5 hours of talk time or 150 hours in standby mode.
