I've been a Sony Ericsson fan since I was in my college years. But my friends suggested that I should switch to iPhone for a change. Is it a good idea that I should listen to my friends advice?

This will depend according to your preference. Do you like a touchscreen phone? music phone, good camera? iPhone is a very good phone but not the best there is. If you are very particular about touchscreen then I think iPhone has the best and most responsive touchscreen out there.
