Hey everyone, I'm about to go backpacking around Europe & Asia for at least 6 months. I'm trying to decide on which smartphone to buy. I've narrowed it down to two picks:
T-Mobile Sidekick LX (2009) or the Sony Xperia X1
I've heard the xperia is a great phone and I like the windows mobile OS. However, I do have a soft spot for sidekicks and the LX seems to have a lot of positive reviews.
Anyone have travel experience with either of these phones? Let me know which one I should buy!

Not sure about the sidekick because I don't know anyone who owns one. The X1 one I would recommend since I've had one before and it's easy to use

Re: Smartphone for travel?
I agree that the X1 is a really good option, and I got it specially to take with me while travelling. I'm really into that, so it was actually a good idea for me. But after I managed to visit this website and learn about the Galapagos Islands, I decided it would be better for me to take two phones just in case.
