Wi-Fi Management
Enabling / Disabling Wi-Fi:
- While on the home screen, press the "Menu" capacitive button
- Select "System settings"
- Tap the "Wi-Fi" slider to enable or disable Wi-Fi connectivity
Connecting to a Wi-Fi Network:
- Press the "Menu" button while on the home screen
- Tap "System settings"
- Press on "Wi-Fi" (not the slider, but the text itself)
- If necessary, tap the "Wi-Fi" slider to enable Wi-Fi
- Tap the network that you wish to connect to. If the network is password-protected, type-in the password / login credentials then press "Connect"
- If a network does not appear, press the "Menu" button and select "Scan"
Enabling / Disabling Wi-Fi Hotspot:
- While on the home screen, press the "Menu" capacitive key on your device
- Select "System settings"
- Tap the slider next to "Portable hotspot" to enable or disable the feature
Setting Up Wi-Fi Hotspot:
- Press the "Menu" button on your device while on the home screen
- Tap "System settings"
- Press "Portable hotspot" (the text itself, not the slider)
- Tap "Configure"
- Edit the "Network SSID" and the "Password" as you see fit, and select the desired "Security" type
- Press "Save"
- Tap the "Menu" capacitive button
- Select "Manage Users"
- Tap "Max connection" and select the desired number of connections allowed at one time
- Press the "Back" key twice then tap the "Portable hotspot" slider to enable mobile hotspot
Bluetooth Management
Enabling / Disabling Bluetooth:
- While on the home screen, press the "Menu" capacitive button on your handset
- Select "System settings"
- Tap the "Bluetooth" slider to enable or disable Bluetooth
Pairing With a Bluetooth Device:
- Press the "Menu" button while on the home screen
- Select "System settings"
- Tap "Bluetooth" (the text, not the slider)
- If necessary, tap the "Bluetooth slider" to enable Bluetooth
- Tap "Search for devices"
- Once the scanning process is complete, select the desired Bluetooth device from the list
- Tap "Pair". If required, type-in the appropriate passkey. (Keep in mind that by default, most Bluetooth handsets have the passkey "0000" or "1234")
