Wi-Fi Settings

Connecting to a Wi-Fi Network:

  1. While on the home screen, press the "Menu" button
  2. Tap "Settings"
  3. Press the "Wi-Fi" toggle to enable Wi-Fi
  4. Select "Wi-Fi" (tap the text itself)
  5. Under "Wi-Fi Networks", select the one that you wish to connect to. If necessary, type-in the network's password
  6. Press "Connect"

Enabling / Disabling Wi-Fi Notifications:

Wi-Fi notifications enable your phone to notify you whenever you're in range of an open Wi-Fi network. To enable or disable the feature:

  1. While on the home screen, press the "Menu" button on your device
  2. Select "Settings" and tap "Wi-Fi"
  3. Check or uncheck "Notify Me" to enable or disable Wi-Fi notifications


Bluetooth Settings

Enabling or Disabling Bluetooth:

  1. While on the home screen, drag down the notification panel from the top of the screen
  2. Tap the "Bluetooth" toggle / icon to enable or disable Bluetooth

Pairing With Another Bluetooth Device:

  1. While on the home screen, press the "Menu" button
  2. Select "Settings"
  3. Tap the "Bluetooth" switch to bring it in the "On" position
  4. Tap the "Bluetooth" text itself
  5. Select the device with which you want to pair your smartphone. If required, type-in the other device's password. By default, Bluetooth passwords are usually "0000" or "1234"
  6. Press "Pair"


Mobile Hotspot Settings

Enabling / Disabling Mobile Hotspot:

  1. From the home screen, press the "Menu" button on your device
  2. Select "Settings"
  3. Tap the "Mobile Hotspot" toggle to enable or disable it

Setting Security Options for Mobile Hotspot:

  1. While on the home screen, press the "Menu" button
  2. Select "Settings"
  3. Make sure that the "Mobile Hotspot" toggle is set to "On"
  4. Tap "Mobile Hotspot" (the text itself)
  5. Select "Network Settings" > "Configure Mobile Hotspot"
  6. Tap the "Security" dropdown menu and select the desired security setting
  7. Tap the "Password" field if you wish to change your password
  8. Type-in a new password then tap the "Enter" button on the on-screen keyboard
  9. Press "Save" and tap the "Home" button on your device to return to the home screen
