Hello guys.
I'm currently choosing a phone and have some questions. Models I'm considering are HTC Desire Eye and Samsung Galaxy A5. I'm going to use phone mainly for calls/messaging/web browsing and as a camera.
First question: I have read that A5 has a weaker processor (64-bit Snapdragon 410, Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53 versus HTC's Qualcomm Snapdragon 801, Quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400). Is it going to be a problem if I use this phone as I described? I'm not into playing games or watching movies on phone.
Second question: they both have a near similar battery (2300 on A5, 2400 on HTC) so do you think that weaker chipset on A5 is going to make its battery last longer than HTC?
Basically I'm really loving A5's looks but HTC's specs are superior so I wanted to see if choosing A5 is justified by any reasons. Thanks!

Re: Need help choosing from two phones
Honestly, you're probably not going to notice much difference in the processors if you're not running cpu intensive applications. That being said, sometimes the more power you have the better, but a lot of times you'll notice slowness because you're out of memory, not processing power.
I would go with the phone that you like better. Go to a store and use both phones if you can.

As you said, you don’t want to use the device for playing games and watching videos than I suggest you to go for Samsung A5. As you like this device. I have noticed that there is no far difference between battery life.
