Re: OnePlus 2: Manage Contacts & Caller Groups

On my OnePlus 2 the contact manager and OS is over simplified. "NO OPTIONS" for adding/creating "Groups", adding/creating "Organization" to contact, and assigning/adding/creating "Speed Dialing". The OnePlus 2 could be a very good business tool if only their "ROM/Management Team" would think things out.

I have a Note 3, as well, and very happy with it's orientation to business application.

Re: OnePlus 2: Manage Contacts & Caller Groups

I have investigated installed several different 'Contact' managers I have settled upon "ASUS Dialer & Contacts". It is by far the most user friendly & straight forward. You don't need a user manual. You can sort by name, group, organization. You can add 'Organization' and other fields. You can assign ring tones to individual contacts. You can assign contacts to specific speed dial numbers on the key pad. It is very similar to my Note 3 and an excellent replacement on phones such as the 'OnePlus' phones. You install "ASUS Dialer & Contacts" and start using it you have been using it your whole life.

"DW Contacts & Phone & Dialer" can do what "ASUS Dialer & Contacts" and is nowhere as user friendly. It takes some effort to use the "User Interface" and the need for a "User Guide/Help" of some sort is lacking at best. I am not a business professional, but I do need the ability to sort "Business, Organization & other agencies" as well as "Personal". "DW Contacts & Phone & Dialer's" user interface needs refining, but better than all the others for usefulness.

These use of 'ring tones' let me identify the caller and I can decide whether to pull over and answer the call.
