    View the Amount of Free SD Card Storage:

    1. Press “Menu” on the home screen
    2. Tap “System settings”
    3. Swipe to “Device”
    4. Tap “Storage”
    5. You can view the “Available space” under “SD card”

    Format the SD Card:

    WARNING! Formatting the SD Card will result in the deletion of all data stored on it. If necessary, back up your data before proceeding.

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Go to “Settings”
    3. Swipe to “Device”
    4. Tap “Storage” > “Erase external SD card”
    5. Tap “Erase SD card”
    6. Tap “Erase everything” to confirm

    Set the Default Memory Storage Location:

    NOTE: By default your phone will store data (via pre-loaded apps) on the internal memory. You can, however, change the default location to use the SD card instead:

    1. Go to the phone’ “Settings” menu
    2. Swipe to “Device”
    3. Tap “Storage”
    4. Under “Default write disk”, select “SD card”

    Transfer Files Between Internal and SD Storage:

    1. Open the apps drawer on the home screen
    2. Tap “File Manager”
    3. Tap “All files”
    4. Navigate to the files you want to transfer
    5. Tap and hold a file to mark it with a green check mark
    6. Check the other files you want to transfer
    7. Tap “Move” and navigate to the desired target folder
    8. Tap “Paste”

    Transfer Files Between SD and a Computer:

    1. Ensure the SD card is installed on the phone
    2. Connect the phone to the computer via USB
    3. Swipe the “Status” bar down and enable “Media device (MTP)”
    4. From the AutoPlay window on the computer, select to explore the phone’s files and folders
    5. Locate the desired files and transfer them on your PC (or vice versa)
    6. When done, eject the phone storage from the system tray, and safely disconnect it from the USB connector

    Okay...is there any way to set APPS to download onto the SD card?

    After doing all this what do i gain???
    I want whatever i download pics vids music etc. And after doing that it still dowloads to internal
    How can i make the sd should be the default storage??????
