NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with access to the Internet, you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. To transfer the contacts to the ZTE ZMAX 2, you’ll need to sync the account data with the device.

  1. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
  2. Launch iTunes and click the iPhone to access the summary page
  3. Go to the “Info” tab
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing one (if applicable)
  6. To begin the sync, click “Apply”
  7. Once done, register the Google account on the ZTE ZMAX 2 and set the account to sync contacts with your phone

Using iCloud:

NOTE: In case you have used the iCloud backup service on your iPhone before, your contacts should be backed up on your iCloud account. You can access the account on a computer with an active Internet connection, and export the contacts in vCard format.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Click “Contacts” and select the contacts you want to share
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. Once the vCard is downloaded on the computer, import it to “Google Contacts”
  7. Alternatively, skip the above step and instead, connect the ZTE ZMAX 2 to your computer via USB and transfer the file to the phone storage. Then, use the “Contacts” app to import the file’s contents to your phonebook

Via “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: My Contacts Backup is a third party application for iOS, which can be used to back up and transfer your iPhone contacts without the need of a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on your iPhone
  2. Launch the application
  3. Tap “Backup” and wait for the backup file to be created
  4. Once done, tap “Email” and make sure the backup file is attached to the new email
  5. Send the email to your own address
  6. On the ZTE ZMAX 2, open the email and download the attached vCard file
  7. Import the file using the “Contacts” application

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Last but not least, you can use Send Anywhere – another third party app for iOS and Android, which uses a P2P connection to transfer contacts and other file types from one phone to another, even cross platform.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Install the same app on the ZTE ZMAX 2 via the Play Store
  3. Launch the application on both phones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  6. Lastly, select a transfer method. You can tap “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone and scan the code with the ZTE’s camera to begin the transfer, or tap “Receive” on the ZTE ZMAX 2 and manually enter the transfer code from the iPhone
