Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Establish a USB connection between the ZTE ZMAX 2 and computer
- Swipe the Notification bar down while viewing the home screen
- Make sure the phone is connected as a Disk Drive or Media sync (MTP)
- On the computer, open an Explorer window and locate the media files on your PC
- Copy the desired files
- Navigate to the phone storage, and paste the files, preferably in the Media > Ringtones / Alarms > / Notifications directories. (If the folders are missing you can create them yourself)
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray
- Safely disconnect the device from the USB
Change the Phones Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer and go to Settings
- Swipe to Device and tap Sound & notification
- Tap Phone ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK to confirm
- Optionally, you can enable or disable Also vibrate for calls
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts stored on the SIM or the phones internal memory.
- Tap Contacts on the home screen
- Select the desired contact
- Tap Edit and press Menu
- Tap Set ringtone and select a ringtone from the list
- Tap OK to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Tap All Apps on the home screen
- Access Settings
- Under Device, tap Sound & notification
- Tap Default Notification Sound under Sound
- Tap the desired notification sound and press OK to confirm
