Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the Acer Liquid Z630 to your computer via USB
  2. Drag the “Notification” bar down
  3. Make sure “Disk Drive” or “Media sync (MTP)” is enabled
  4. Launch an Explorer window on the computer and locate the desired audio files stored on the PC
  5. Copy the files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory
  6. Once the transfer is complete, click the mass storage device icon in the system tray, eject the phone storage, and safely disconnect the device from the USB connector

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound”
  3. Under “Call Ringtone & vibrate”, tap “Phone ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “OK”
  6. Optionally, you can disable or enable “Also vibrate for calls”

Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned for contacts that are located on the phone’s internal memory or the SIM card.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Tap the contact whose ringtone you want to customize
  3. Tap the “Edit” icon shaped like a pencil
  4. Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
  5. Choose a ringtone and press “OK” to confirm

Change the Phone’s Notification Sound:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Open “Settings”
  3. Under “Device”, tap “Sound & notification”
  4. Under “Sound” tap “Default Notification Sound”
  5. Select the desired sound and tap “OK”
