Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the Alcatel Flash 2 to your computer via USB
- Drag the Notification bar down and enable Media device (MTP) if necessary
- Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the desired audio files
- Copy the files you want to use for ringtones / notifications, and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the Media > Ringtones / Notification / Alarms directories
- After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray, and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Tap Apps on the home screen
- Go to Settings and scroll to Device
- Tap Sound and scroll to Call ringtone & vibrate
- Tap Phone ringtone and select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK
- Optionally, you can turn Also vibrate for calls On or Off
Change a Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: You cannot assign custom ringtones for contacts located on the SIM card or the phones internal memory.
- Open Contacts
- Tap the desired contact, and tap Edit
- Tap Menu > Set ringtone
- Select a ringtone from the list, and tap OK to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Open the Settings menu on the phone
- Tap Sound & Notification under Device
- Under Sound, tap Default Notification Sound
- Select the desired notification sound and tap OK
