Back Up App Data:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Go to “Settings”
  3. Scroll to “Personal” and tap “Backup & reset”
  4. To back up settings, account data, Wi-Fi passwords, enable “Back up my data”
  5. To allow your account to automatically restore data upon app reinstallation, enable “Automatic restore”

NOTE: App data will be restored automatically once you sign in with your Google backup account for the first time, such as after a master reset.

Back Up Contacts:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Tap “Accounts”
  3. Select the account you want to use for syncing contacts
  4. Tap “Menu” > “Sync now”

NOTE: Contacts backed up using this method will be restored automatically once you sign in with your Google backup account for the first time, such as after a factory reset.

Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

  1. Establish a USB connection between your computer and ZTE Warp Elite
  2. Swipe the “Notification” bar down on the home screen
  3. Turn on “Media sync (MTP)”
  4. Open a File Explorer window on the PC and locate the media files on your phone
  5. Copy the desired files and transfer them on your computer
  6. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray, and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord

Restore Media Files From a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the ZTE Warp Elite to your computer via USB
  2. Swipe the “Notification” bar down and make sure “Media sync (MTP)” is enabled
  3. Launch a File Explorer window and locate the media files backed up on your computer
  4. Copy the desired files, and transfer them back on your phone storage, preferably in the “Media” folder
  5. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray and disconnect the phone from the USB cord
