Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Lava X10 to your PC via USB
- Swipe the Status bar down on the home screen
- Make sure Media device (MTP) is turned on
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Navigate to the audio files on your PC and copy the ones you want to use on your phone
- Transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones / Alarms / Notification folders
- Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray, and safely disconnect the phone from the USB
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer
- Access Settings
- Tap Sound under Device
- Scroll to Call ringtone & vibrate and tap Phone ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
- Optionally, enable or disable Also vibrate for calls
Change a Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts located on the SIM card or the phones internal memory.
- Open Contacts
- Go to All Contacts
- Tap the contact you want to assign a contact to
- Tap Edit > Menu
- Tap Set ringtone and select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Open the Settings menu
- Scroll to Device and tap Sound & Notification
- Tap Default Notification Sound under Sound
- Select the notification you want to use
- Tap OK
