Create a Contact:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen and launch “Contacts”
  2. Access “All Contacts”
  3. Tap “+” and select an account if necessary
  4. Enter the contact’s phone number, name, and other details in the appropriate fields
  5. Tap “Done” to store the contact

Import / Export Contacts:

  1. Open the apps drawer
  2. Launch “Contacts”
  3. Go to “All Contacts” and tap “Menu”
  4. Tap “Import / Export”
  5. Choose to “Export to storage”, “Import from storage” etc.
  6. When exporting contacts, make sure you remember the backup file’s name for future use and tap “OK”
  7. When importing contacts, choose an account and select the vCard you want to add to your phonebook

Link Contacts to Direct Dial (Speed Dial):

  1. Tap and hold an empty area on the home screen
  2. Access “Widgets”
  3. Find, then tap & hold the “Direct Dial” widget
  4. Drag the widget and drop it in a clear area on the home screen
  5. At the prompt, select the number / contact you want to associate with the Direct Dial widget
  6. Repeat the steps above for as many Direct Dial widgets you require

NOTE: Direct Dial widgets on the home screen can be organized in folders, by dragging and dropping them on top of one another.

Delete a Contact:

  1. Launch “Contacts”
  2. Go to “All Contacts”
  3. Tap the contact you want to delete
  4. Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
  5. Tap “Delete” > “OK”

Create a Caller Group via New Contact:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen and open “Contacts”
  2. Access “All Contacts”
  3. Tap “+”
  4. Tap “Group name” under “Groups”
  5. Select “Create a new group”
  6. Enter a name for the group and tap “OK”
  7. Tap “Back” to save the group

Add a Contact to an Existing Caller Group:

  1. Launch “Contacts”
  2. Go to “All contacts”
  3. Tap and hold the desired contact
  4. Tap “Edit” > “Group name” under “Groups”
  5. Select the group you want to add the contact to
  6. Tap “Back”

Clear the Call Log:

  1. Open “Phone” and tap “Menu”
  2. Access “Call history”
  3. For more details on a call log entry, tap it
  4. To clear the call log, go to “Call history” and tap “Menu”
  5. Tap “Clear call log”
