Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the Lenovo Vibe X3 to your computer via USB
- Swipe the Status bar down on the home screen and make sure Media device (MTP) is enabled
- On the computer, open the File Explorer
- On the PC, locate the audio files you want to use on your phone
- Copy the files and paste them on the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones / Alarms / Notification folders
- Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the Phones Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer and go to Settings
- Tap Sound under Device
- Under Call ringtone & vibrate, tap Phone ringtone
- Select the ringtone you want to use and tap OK
- Optionally, enable or disable Also vibrate for calls
Customize a Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set to contacts located on the SIM card or the phones internal memory.
- Launch Contacts
- Select the contact whose ringtone you want to customize
- Tap Edit (icon shaped like a pencil)
- Tap Menu > Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
Change the Notification Sound:
- Go to the phones Settings menu
- Tap Sound & Notification under Device
- Under Sound, tap Default Notification Sound
- Select the notification sound you want to use and tap OK to confirm
