Back Up App Data:
- Tap Apps on the home screen
- Open Settings and scroll to Personal
- Tap Backup & reset
- To back up account / app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to your Google account, enable Back up my data
- To restore app data automatically the next time you sign in with your Google backup account, enable Automatic Restore
Back Up Contacts to Storage:
- Open Contacts
- If necessary, go to the All Contacts tab
- Tap Menu > Import / Export
- Choose to Export to storage
- Before tapping OK to confirm, make sure you remember the files name for future use
Restore Contacts from Storage:
- Launch Contacts
- Tap the All Contacts tab
- Tap Menu > Import / Export > Import from storage
- After the phone finishes searching for vCard files, select the one you wish to import
- Follow the on-screen steps to complete the restore. If necessary, select an account with which to sync the contacts
Back Up Contacts on a Google Account:
- Open the phones Settings menu
- Go to Accounts and tap Google
- Select the account you want to use for the sync / back up
- Make sure the Contacts check box is selected
- Tap Menu > Sync now
NOTE: Contacts backed up using this method will be automatically restored the next time you log in with the Google account you used for the backup.
Back Up and Restore Media Files on a Windows Computer:
- Connect the ZTE Blade V6 to your computer via USB
- When prompted, enable Media device (MTP) (If not prompted then enable the option from the notification area)
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Using the Explorer, locate the media files on your phone and copy them
- Transfer the files in the desired backup location on the computer
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray
- Safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
NOTE: To restore media files from a Windows computer, follow the first 3 steps above and then transfer the media files from the computer to the phone storage, preferably in the folders they originate from (usually the Media directory).
