Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the XOLO Era 1X to your computer via USB
- Turn on File Transfer (MTP) / Media Device (MTP) when prompted or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the desired audio files on the PC storage
- Copy and paste the files on the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones / Notifications / Alarms directories
- Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Tap Apps on the home screen
- Open Settings
- Scroll to Device and tap Sound & Notification
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
- Optionally, set Also vibrate for calls ON or OFF
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set to contacts located on the phones internal memory or the SIM Card.
- Launch Contacts
- Tap and hold the contact you want to customize
- Tap Edit > Menu
- Tap Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone to use and tap OK to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Launch Settings
- Scroll to Device and tap Sound & Notification
- Tap Default notification ringtone
- Select the notification sound you want to use and tap OK
