Sync iPhone Contacts with Google via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with an active Internet connection, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data and contacts with the Android device.

  1. Connect the iPhone to your computer using the Lightning cable
  2. Open iTunes on the computer and click the iPhone once connected
  3. Access “Info” and enable “Sync Contacts With”
  4. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu and sign in with your Google account
  5. Click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  7. Once the sync is complete, switch to the Archos Diamond 2 Note and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
  8. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: In case the contacts on your iPhone are backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and access “Contacts”
  4. Select the desired contacts to share and click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  5. After the vCard has been downloaded on the PC, follow one of these steps:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts” or:
    • Connect the Android phone to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and import it using “Contacts”

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the two methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can transfer contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and transfer contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Open the append tap “Backup”. This will create a vCard backup file containing your contacts
  3. Once done, tap “Email” and ensure the vCard is attached to the mail
  4. Send the email to your own address and switch to the Archos device
  5. Open the email and download the vCard attachment
  6. Import the vCard to your phonebook using “Contacts”

Via “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to transfer contacts and other file types without a computer.

  1. Visit the Google Play Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the Archos Diamond 2 Note
  2. Install the same app on the iPhone from the App Store
  3. Launch the app on both smartphones
  4. Tap “Send” > “Contacts” on the iPhone
  5. Select the contacts you want to share and tap “Send”
  6. Choose a transfer method such as “Receive” or “Generate QR Code” and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
