Sync iPhone Contacts with Google via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data and contacts with the Lenovo K6.

  1. Establish a USB connection between the iPhone and computer
  2. Open iTunes on the computer
  3. Click the iPhone and access the “Info” section
  4. Turn on “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  7. Once the sync is complete, switch to the Lenovo P6, register the same Google account used in iTunes and allow it to sync contacts with your device

Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud Backup:

NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts have been backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the PC
  2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Access “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts and click “Settings”
  6. Click “Export vCard” and wait for the vCard to be downloaded on the computer
  7. Follow one of these steps to complete the process:
    • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or:
    • Connect the Lenovo K6 to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and use “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Launch the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup” to create a vCard backup file of your contacts
  3. Tap “Email” once done and ensure the vCard is attached
  4. Send the email and attachment to your own address
  5. Switch to the Lenovo device, open the email and download the attached vCard
  6. Import the vCard via “Contacts”

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use on both iOS and Android is Send Anywhere. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to transfer contacts and other file types cross-platform, without requiring a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. On the Lenovo K6, go to the Google Play Store and install the same app
  3. Open the app on both smartphones
  4. Tap “Send” > “Contacts” on the iPhone
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  6. Lastly, choose a transfer method. You can tap “Receive” on the Lenovo K6 and enter the transfer code generated on the iPhone, or tap “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone and scan the code with the Android phone’s camera
