Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Connect the ZTE Grand X 4 to your computer via USB
- Enable Media device (MTP) / File Transfer (MTP) at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Use the Explorer to locate the desired audio files on the computer storage
- Copy and paste the files on the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones / Notifications / Alarms directories
- After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Tap Apps on the home screen
- Open Settings
- Scroll to Device ad tap Sound & Notification
- Tap Phone ringtone and select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK to confirm
- Optionally, you can enable or disable Also vibrate for calls
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones to contacts stored on the SIM card or the devices internal memory.
- Open Contacts
- Select the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu
- Tap Set ringtone and select the desired ringtone to use
- Tap OK to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Launch Settings
- Scroll to Device and tap Sound & Notification
- Tap Default notification ringtone
- Select the desired notification alert and tap OK to confirm
