Sync iPhone Contacts with Google via iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, including contacts, with the BLU Neo X2.
- Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
- Open iTunes and click the iPhone
- Go to the Info section
- Enable Sync Contacts With and select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Sign in with your Google account or click Configure
- Select an existing account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once done, switch to the BLU Neo X2 and sign in to the same Google account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android device
Share iPhone Contacts From iCloud:
NOTE: In case the contacts on your iPhone are backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet, and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account
- Go to Contacts
- Select the desired contacts
- Click Settings > Export vCard
- Wait for the vCard to be downloaded and follow one of these steps:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the Android phone to your computer, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use Contacts to import it
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can use third party applications to share your iPhone contacts. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can be used to back up and share contacts via email.
- Go to the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
- Open the application
- Tap Backup to create a vCard backup file of your iPhone contacts
- Tap Email and compose a new email containing the vCard attachment
- Send the email to your own address
- Switch to the BLU smartphone and open the email
- Download the vCard attachment and import it to your phonebook using Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party application you can use on both Android and iOS to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform through a peer-2-peer connection without requiring a computer.
- Open the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Install the same app on the BLU Neo X2 via the Google Play Store
- Open the app on both smartphones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Tap the desired contacts and tap Send
- Select the desired transfer method. Ex: you can tap Receive on the Android phone or Generate QR Code on the iPhone
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
