Sync iPhone Contacts with Google via iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, including contacts, with the BLU device.
- Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
- Open iTunes on the computer and click the iPhone
- Go to Info and enable Sync Contacts With
- Select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Sign in with your Google account, or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once the sync is complete, switch to the BLU device and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with your phone
Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud Backup:
NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts are already backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export your iPhone contacts in vCard format for Android use.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Go to https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account and go to Contacts
- Select the contacts you want to share
- Click Settings > Export vCard
- After the vCard is downloaded on the computer, follow one of these steps:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the BLU device to your computer via USB and transfer the vCard to the phone storage. Then, import the vCard using Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: The methods above require a computer connected to the Internet. Alternatively, you can use third party applications to share your iPhone contacts. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share contacts via email.
- Go to the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
- Open the app and tap Backup. This will create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Once done, tap Email
- Make sure the email contains the vCard attachment
- Send the email to your own address
- Switch to the Android phone, and open the email
- Download the vCard attachment and use Contacts to import it
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share various file types without requiring a computer.
- Visit the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- On the BLU Grand Energy, install the same app from the Google Play Store
- Open the app on both smartphones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts
- Tap Send and select the desired transfer method, such as Generate QR Code on the iPhone or Receive on the Android device
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
