Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the Nitro 55M to your PC via USB
- Enable File Transfer / Media device when prompted or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the desired audio files on the PC storage
- Copy and paste the files on the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones / Notifications / Alarms directories
- Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Tap Apps on the home screen
- Go to Settings and scroll to Device
- Tap Sound & Notification
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
- Optionally, enable or disable Also vibrate for calls
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones for contacts stored on the phones internal memory or SIM card.
- Open Contacts
- Tap and hold the desired contact and tap Edit
- Go to Menu and tap Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Launch Settings
- Scroll to Device and tap Sound & Notification
- Tap Default notification ringtone
- Select the desired notification sound and tap OK to confirm
