Back Up Application Data:

  1. Tap “apps” on the home screen
  2. Open “Settings”
  3. Scroll to “Personal”
  4. Tap “Backup & reset” and enable “Back up my data” to back up app data and settings to your Google account
  5. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data to be automatically restored when signing in with your Google account

Back Up and Restore Contacts:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Scroll to and tap “Accounts”
  3. Select the desired account type and the account you want to use for contact syncing
  4. Make sure “Contacts” is checked
  5. Tap “Menu” > “Sync now”

NOTE: Contacts backed up using this method can be restored automatically the next time you sign in with your Google account

Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the Maverick Pro to your computer via USB
  2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer and locate the media files on the phone storage
  4. Copy and transfer the files in the desired backup location on the computer
  5. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the Maverick Pro to your computer via USB
  2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the media file backups on the PC storage
  4. Transfer the media file backups on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” folder or the directories where they originate from
  5. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
