Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Connect the ZTE device to your computer via USB
- Enable media device / File transfer at the prompt or from the notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the PC
- Use the Explorer to locate the desired audio files on the PC storage
- Copy and paste the files on the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones and/or Notifications folder(s)
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer
- Go to Settings
- Scroll to Device
- Tap Sound & Notification and select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK to confirm
- Optionally, select whether to turn Also vibrate for calls ON or OFF
Change a Specific Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: You cannot assign custom ringtones to contacts located on the phones internal memory or SIM card.
- Open Contacts
- Tap and hold the contact whose ringtone you want to change
- Tap Edit > Menu > Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Open Settings
- Scroll to Device
- Tap Sound & Notification
- Tap Default notification ringtone and select the desired notification sound
- Tap OK to confirm

It still does default text tone for a contact as I set it to sonar tone.
