Share iPhone Contacts with Google via iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Micromax device.
- Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
- Open iTunes on the computer
- Access Info and enable Sync Contacts With
- Select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Register your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account if applicable
- Click Apply to begin the sync
- Once the sync is done, switch to the Micromax device and register the same Google account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts are already backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account and go to Contacts
- Select the desired contact and click Settings > Export vCard
- Once the vCard is downloaded, you can perform one of the following steps:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the Micromax device to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use Contacts to import its contents to your phonebook
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the two methods above require a computer with an active Internet connection, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Open the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
- Open the app and tap Backup to create a vCard backup file of your iPhone contacts
- Tap Email and ensure the vCard is attached to the email
- Send the email and attachment to your own address
- On the Micromax device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
- Import the vCard to your phonebook using Contacts
Via Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use for Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other types of files, cross-platform, without requiring a PC.
- Visit the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Go to the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Micromax smartphone
- Launch the app on both devices
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and tap Send
- Lastly select the desired transfer method on one of the devices and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
