Share iPhone Contacts with Google Using iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Micromax device.
- Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
- Launch iTunes on the computer and go to Info
- Enable Sync Contacts with and select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Sign in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account if available
- Click Apply to start the sync
- After the sync is done, switch to the Micromax Canvas 2 and register the same Google account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the Micromax device
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are already backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account and access Contacts
- Select the desired contact
- Click Settings > Export vCard
- After the vCard has been downloaded, you can perform one of the steps below:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts or:
- Connect the Micromax device to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and import it to your phonebook using Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: Although the two methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an app for iOS that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Go to the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
- Launch the app and tap Backup. This will create a vCard backup file of your iPhone contacts
- Next, tap Email and compose a new email while ensuring the vCard is attached
- Send the email and attachment to your own address
- Switch to the Micromax device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
- Import the vCard to your phonebook via Contacts
Via Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring a PC.
- Visit the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Open the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Android device
- Launch the application on both smartphones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and tap Send
- Tap Contacts and select the desired contacts
- Tap Send
- Lastly, select the desired transfer method on one of the smartphones and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
