Share iPhone Contacts with Google Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account, and then sync the account data including contacts with the Android device.

  1. Connect the iPhone to your PC via USB
  2. Open iTunes on the computer and access “Info”
  3. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  4. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  5. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  6. Once the sync is complete, switch to the BLU device and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
  7. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts from an iCloud Backup:

NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts have already been backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and go to “Contacts”
  4. Select the contact you want to share and click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  5. Once the vCard has been downloaded, follow one of the steps below:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or:
    • Connect the BLU R2 to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the two methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share contacts via email.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the app and tap “Backup”
  3. Once the backup is done, tap “Email”
  4. Compose a new email ensuring the vCard is attached
  5. Send the email and attachment to your own address
  6. Switch to the BLU R2, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  7. Import the vCard to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Go to the Google Play Store and install the same app on the BLU R2
  3. Launch the app on both devices
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  6. Lastly, select the desired transfer method on one of the phones and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
