Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Micromax Canvas 1.

  1. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
  2. Open iTunes on the computer and access “Info”
  3. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  4. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  5. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  6. Once the sync is done, switch to the Micromax device and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
  7. Set the account to sync contacts with your Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts have already been backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet, and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Go to “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts
  6. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  7. After the vCard has been downloaded, follow one of the steps below:
    • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or:
    • Connect the Micromax device to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import the vCard to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the two methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third party application that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the app and tap “Backup”. This will create a vCard backup file containing your iPhone contacts
  3. After the vCard is done, tap “Email”
  4. Compose a new email and ensure the vCard is attached
  5. Send the email and attachment to your own address
  6. Switch to the Micromax device and open the email
  7. Download the vCard email attachment and import it to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, including contacts, cross-platform without requiring a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Open the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Micromax device
  3. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  4. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  5. Lastly, select the desired transfer method on one of the phone sand follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
