Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the Micromax phone to your computer via USB
  2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer and locate the desired audio files on the PC storage
  4. Copy and transfer the desired audio files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” folder(s)
  5. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Scroll to “Device”
  3. Tap “Sound & Notification”
  4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK” to confirm
  5. Optionally, turn “Also vibrate for calls” On or Off

Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts located on the SIM or SD cards.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK” to confirm

Change the Notification Sound:

  1. Open “Settings” and scroll to “Device”
  2. Tap “Sound & Notifcation”
  3. Go to “Default notification ringtone”
  4. Select the desired notification alert and tap “OK” to confirm
