Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access, you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Android phone.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
  2. Launch iTunes on the computer
  3. Access “Info”
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With”
  5. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  6. Log in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  7. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  8. Once the sync is done, switch to the Android phone and log in with the same account used in iTunes
  9. Allow the account to sync contacts with the android phone

Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in to the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with the iCloud account and go to “Contacts”
  4. Select the desired contacts and click “Settings”
  5. Click “Export vCard”
  6. Once the vCard has been downloaded, perform one of the following steps:
    • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or:
    • Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import the vCard to your phonebook using “Contacts”

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: While the two methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Launch the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup” to create a vCard file of your iPhone contacts
  3. Once the vCard has been created, tap “Email” and ensure the vCard is attached
  4. Send the email and attachment to your own address
  5. Switch to the Android device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  6. Open “Contacts” and import the vCard to your phonebook

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use for contact transfer is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring a computer.

  1. Go to the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
  2. Visit the Play Store and install the same app on the Panasonic device
  3. Open the app on both smartphones
  4. Tap “Send” > “Contacts” on the iPhone
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  6. Lastly, select the desired transfer method on one of the phones and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process
