Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
  2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” on the phone, when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the audio files on the PC storage
  5. Copy and transfer the files in the desired to the phone storage, preferably in the “media” directory
  6. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound & Notification”
  3. Select the desired ringtone
  4. Tap “OK” to confirm
  5. Optionally, you can turn “Also vibrate for calls” ON or OFF

Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts located on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.

  1. Launch “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the desired contacts
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
  4. Go to “Set ringtone”
  5. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”

Change the Notification Alert Sound:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Scroll to “Device”
  3. Tap “Sound & Notification” > “Default notification ringtones”
  4. Select the desired notification sound and press “OK”
