Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access, you can sync your iPhone contacts with a Google account, and then sync the account data and contacts with the Android device.
- Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
- Open iTunes on the computer
- Click the iPhone and go to Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With and select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Sign in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once the sync is done, switch to the Android phone and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android device
Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account and go to Contacts
- Select the desired contacts to share and click Settings
- Click Export vCard
- Wait for the file to be downloaded and follow one of the steps below:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and import its contents to your phonebook using Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the methods above require computer access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party applications.
- Visit the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
- Open the app and tap Backup to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Next, tap Email and ensure the vCard is attached
- Send the email and attachment to your own address
- Switch to the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard
- Use Contacts to import the vCard to your phonebook
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app on Android and iOS you can use for contact transfer over a peer-2-peer connection without computer access.
- Visit the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Install the same app on the Android phone via the Play Store
- Open the app on both devices
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and tap Send
- Lastly, select a transfer method on one of the devices and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
