Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
  2. Enable “Media device” or “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the Notification shade
  3. Switch to the computer and open the File Explorer
  4. Locate the desired audio files on the PC storage
  5. Copy and paste the files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” or “Ringtones” directory
  6. After the transfer completes you can safely disconnect the phone from the USB

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound & Notification”
  3. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
  4. Optionally, turn “Also vibrate for calls “ON or OFF

Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned for contacts stored on the phone storage or the SIM Card.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “OK”

Change the Notification Alert:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound & Notification”
  3. Tap “Default notification ringtone”
  4. Select the desired notification alert
  5. Tap “OK”
