Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
  2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the audio files on the PC
  5. Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory
  6. After the process ends, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Scroll to “Device”
  3. Tap “Sound and Notification”
  4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
  5. Optionally, enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”

Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned for contacts stored on the SIM Card or the device’s internal memory.

  1. Launch “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “OK” to confirm

Change the Notification Alert Sound:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Scroll to “Device”
  3. Tap “Sound & Notification”
  4. Go to “Default notification ringtone”
  5. Select the desired notification sound
  6. Press “OK” to confirm
