Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Android phone.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
  2. Open iTunes on the computer
  3. Click the iPhone and go to “Info”
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With”
  5. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  6. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  7. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  8. Once done, switch to the Android phone and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
  9. Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android device

Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on y our iCloud account, you can log in with the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the PC
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and access “Contacts”
  4. Select the contacts you want to share
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. After the process is done, perform one of the following:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
    • Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use “Contacts” to import the vCard’s contents to your phonebook

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email in a vCard file.

  1. Go to the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
  3. Use the app to send the vCard to your own email address
  4. Switch to the Android device, open the email and download the vCard
  5. Import the vCard to your phonebook using “Contacts”

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use for transferring your iPhone contacts without a computer, over a peer-2-peer connection.

  1. Visit the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
  2. Install the same app on the Android phone via the Play Store
  3. Open the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts” and select the desired contacts
  5. Tap “Send” and select a transfer method on one of the phones
  6. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
