Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
  2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the Notification area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the audio files on the PC
  5. Copy the desired files and transfer them to the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” folder
  6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect it from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Go to “Settings”
  2. Tap “Sound and Notification”
  3. Select the desired ringtone
  4. Tap “OK”
  5. Optionally, you can turn “Also vibrate for calls” ON or OFF

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned for contacts stored on the device’s internal memory or SIM card.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone
  5. Press “OK”

Change the Notification Alert:

  1. Open “Settings” and go to “Device”
  2. Tap “Sound & Notification”
  3. Tap “Default notification ringtone”
  4. Select a notification sound and tap “OK”
