Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
- Enable Media device / File Transfer at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the PC
- Copy the desired files and transfer them to the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones folder
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect it from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Go to Settings
- Tap Sound and Notification
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK
- Optionally, you can turn Also vibrate for calls ON or OFF
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned for contacts stored on the devices internal memory or SIM card.
- Open Contacts
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu > Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone
- Press OK
Change the Notification Alert:
- Open Settings and go to Device
- Tap Sound & Notification
- Tap Default notification ringtone
- Select a notification sound and tap OK
