Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, and contacts, with the Android device.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
  2. Launch iTunes and click the iPhone
  3. Access “Info” and enable “Sync Contacts With”
  4. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Log in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  7. After the sync is complete, switch to the Android phone and log in with the same account used in iTunes
  8. Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android device

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with your account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Go to “Contacts” and select the desired contacts
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. Perform one of the steps below:
    • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and use “Google Contacts” to import it to your phonebook
    • Connect the Android device to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: While the methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts via third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app you can use for backing up and sharing iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
  3. Once the process completes, send the vCard to your own email address as an attachment
  4. On the Android device, open the email and download the vCard
  5. Import the vCard to your phonebook using Contacts

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Another third-party app you can use for transferring contacts is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring access to a computer.

  1. Install Send Anywhere on the iPhone via the App Store
  2. Go to the Play Store and install the same app on the Android phone
  3. Launch the app on both phones
  4. On the iPhone tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  6. Select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
