Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
- Enable File Transfer / Media device when prompted or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the computer storage
- Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the Notifications and Ringtones directory
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open Settings
- Access Sound & Notification
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK
- Optionally, enable or disable Also vibrate for calls
Change a Specific Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts located on the SIM card or the devices internal memory.
- Open Contacts
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu > Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Open Settings
- Access Sound & Notification
- Tap Default notification ringtone
- Select the desired notification alert
- Press OK
