Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
- Enable File Transfer / Media device on the phone when prompted or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the PC
- Locate the audio files on the computer
- Copy the desired files and paste them to the phone storage in the Ringtones and Notifications folders
- Once the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open Settings
- Access Sound & Notification
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK
- Optionally, turn Also vibrate for calls ON or OFF
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts stored on the phones internal memory or SIM card.
- Open Contacts
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu > Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK
Change Notification Alerts:
- Open Settings
- Go to Sound & Notification
- Tap Default notification ringtone
- Select the desired notification ringtone and tap OK
