Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account, and then sync the account data and contacts with the Android phone.
- Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
- Launch iTunes on the computer
- Click the iPhone in iTunes
- Go to Info and enable Sync Contacts With
- Sign in with your Google account or click Configure and select an account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once done, switch to the Android device and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android device
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android device.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account and go to Contacts
- Select the desired contacts then click Settings > Export vCard
- Follow one of the steps below:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google contacts or:
- Connect the Android device to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook via Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app you can use to share your iPhone contacts via email.
- Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone from the App Store
- Launch the app and use it to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Once done, compose an email and ensure the vCard is attached
- Send the email to your own address and switch to the Android phone
- Open the email on the Android phone and download the vCard attachment
- Import the vCard to your phonebook via Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use for contact transfer on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other file types without requiring computer access.
- Install Send Anywhere on the iPhone from the App Store
- Visit the Play Store and install the app on the Android device
- Open the app on both phones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and tap Send
- Select a transfer method on one of the devices and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
