Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account, and then sync the account data and contacts with the Android phone.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
  2. Launch iTunes on the computer
  3. Click the iPhone in iTunes
  4. Go to “Info” and enable “Sync Contacts With”
  5. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an account
  6. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  7. Once done, switch to the Android device and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
  8. Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android device

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android device.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and go to “Contacts”
  4. Select the desired contacts then click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  5. Follow one of the steps below:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google contacts” or:
    • Connect the Android device to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app you can use to share your iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone from the App Store
  2. Launch the app and use it to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
  3. Once done, compose an email and ensure the vCard is attached
  4. Send the email to your own address and switch to the Android phone
  5. Open the email on the Android phone and download the vCard attachment
  6. Import the vCard to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use for contact transfer on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other file types without requiring computer access.

  1. Install Send Anywhere on the iPhone from the App Store
  2. Visit the Play Store and install the app on the Android device
  3. Open the app on both phones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  6. Select a transfer method on one of the devices and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
