Transfer audio Files from a PC:

  1. Establish a USB connection between the Android phone and PC
  2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” on the phone, at the prompt or from the Notification area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Copy and paste the files to the phone storage, in the “Ringtones” and “notifications” directories
  5. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings” and go to “Sound & Notification”
  2. Select the desired ringtone
  3. Tap “OK”
  4. Optionally, enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be assigned for contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or SIM card.

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
  4. Go to “Set ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “OK”

Change Notification Alert Sounds:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Go to “Sound & Notification”
  3. Tap “Default notification ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
