Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:
NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data with the Android phone.
- Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
- Open iTunes on the computer
- Go to Info and enable Sync Contacts With
- Log in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once done, switch to the Android phone and log in with the same account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android device
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Log in with your iCloud account
- Go to Contacts and select the desired contacts
- Click Settings > Export vCard
- After the process completes, follow one of the steps below:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to your phonebook via Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the Android device to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it using the Contacts app
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: The methods above require a computer with Internet access but you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app you can use to back up and share contacts over email.
- Install the app via the App Store
- Launch the app and create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Compose an email and attach the vCard
- Send the email to your own address
- On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard
- Use the Contacts app to import the vCard to your phonebook
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app for Android and iOS which can be used to share contacts without computer access over a peer-to-peer connection.
- Install the app on both phones form their respective app stores
- Open the app on both devices
- Tap Send > Contacts on the iPhone
- Select the desired contacts
- Choose a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the prompts to complete the transfer
