Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
  2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” on the phone, at the prompt or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Navigate to the audio files on the PC
  5. Copy and paste the files to the phone storage in the “notifications” and “Ringtones” directories
  6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Access “Sound & Notification”
  3. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
  4. Optionally, turn “Also vibrate for calls” ON or OFF

Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones for contacts located on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.

  1. Launch “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact
  3. Tap “Edit > “Menu”
  4. Go to “Set ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “OK” to confirm

Change Notification Alerts:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to “Sound & Notification”
  3. Select “Default notification ringtone”
  4. Select the desired notification ringtone
  5. Tap “OK” to confirm
