Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account, and then sync the account data and contacts with the Android phone.
- Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
- Open iTunes on the computer and go to Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With and log in with the Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to begin the sync
- Once done, log in with the same account used in iTunes and allow the account to sync contacts with the Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and head down to https://www.icloud.com/
- Log in with your iCloud account and go to Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and click Settings > Export vCard
- Once the process completes, follow one of the steps below:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to your phonebook via Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the Android device to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook using the Contacts app
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: The methods above require access to a computer connected to the Internet, but you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app you can use to back up and share contacts over email.
- Go to the App Store and install the app on the phone
- Open the app and create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Compose an email and attach the vCard
- Send the email to your own address and switch to the Android phone
- Open the email and download the vCard
- Import its contents to your phonebook using the Contacts app
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: This is another app for Android and iOS you can use. It can transfer contacts over a peer-to-peer connection without requiring computer access.
- Install the app on both devices from the respective app stores
- Open the app on both phones
- Tap Send > Contacts on the iPhone and select the desired contacts
- Select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the prompts to complete the transfer
