Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Establish a USB connection between the PC and computer
  2. Enable “Media file MTP” on the phone when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the audio files on the PC
  5. Copy and paste the files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and/or “Notifications” folders
  6. Once the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
  2. Open “Settings”
  3. Go to “Sound”
  4. Tap “Phone ringtone” and select the desired ringtone

Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be set for contacts located on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.

  1. On the home screen, swipe up from the bottom
  2. Launch “Contacts”
  3. Tap and hold the desired contact
  4. Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
  5. Select the desired call ringtone for the contact and tap “Save”

Change Notification Ringtones:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Access “Sound”
  3. Tap “Default notification sound”
  4. Select the notification ringtone you want to assign

Manage Emergency Alerts:

  1. Open “Messages”
  2. Tap “menu” > “Settings”
  3. Tap “Wireless alerts” > “Menu” > “Settings”
  4. Turn “Allow alerts” “AMBER alerts” “Extreme threats” and “Severe threats” ON or OFF
