Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
  2. Enable “Media File MTP” on the phone when prompted or from the Notification shade
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the audio files on the PC
  5. Copy and paste the files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and/or “notifications” directories
  6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

Change the Phone’s General Ringtone:

  1. Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
  2. Launch “Settings”
  3. Go to “Sound” > “Phone ringtone”
  4. Select the ringtone you want to assign

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones for contacts located on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.

  1. Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
  2. Launch “Contacts”
  3. Tap and hold the desired contact
  4. Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “Save” to confirm

Change Notification Alert Sounds:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Go to “Sound”
  3. Tap “Default notification sound”
  4. Select the notification ringtone you want to use

Manage Emergency Alerts:

  1. Open “Messages” and tap “Menu”
  2. Tap “Settings” > “Wireless alerts”
  3. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
  4. Turn ON or OFF “Allow Alerts” “AMBER alerts” “Extreme threats” and “Severe threats”
